Various RX7 vids from the last 2 or so years.
This is on a secret road in the smokey mountains. It is similar to the Tail of the Dragon, but, with no traffic, or LEO. Yes my damn Sirius was cutting in and out and while it was on low, a speaker was right next to my Chase Cam mike. Lesson learned.
Does embedding work here? If not here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B5AKVqCt9F0 **edit** does not work

This is the same road except this is the Red 911 in the 1st video following me. About 1/2 way through I was seeing engine temps int he 220's and backed off, turned on the heat and drove in 3rd and did not push hard. Otherwise........
![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obL-K...eature=related Same exact run as above, except from my car. BTW- The camera is mounted on my front left (drivers side) headlight cover. So it appears I am all over the centerline but I am not. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/B...ard_157511.htm This Video is of the same road except in July instead of April. Better road conditions. This brings back cool memories. My 15 y/o son and I drove up in the RX7 - 710 miles one way to spend a weekend just cruising the roads around the Smokey Mountain Park. We did a complete loop around the park and it took all day with a lunch stop in Gatlinburg. My buddy in this video driving the red 911 came along this day and we had a ball. We drove and drove and drove all day long. We hit the Tail of the Dragon and were reminded why we do not drive there anymore. Too many Bozo's and LEO to have fun. We made our way to the road in this vid. our secret road. I have the camera pointing backwards for a different view. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/B...ing_172437.htm |

Driving on a Kart Track with Street tires = no joy.
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/A...-on_174741.htm This was in Orlando. Long story short, in the July Vid above. I towed my racing slicks up to my friends house to keep there, on my way to NC. Then I went back there for an AX on Sunday coming back from the mountains. The slicks were shot and the car was actually faster on the streets: On finished slicks sliding around: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/J...zda_173343.htm On Street tires... 1 second faster on a 50 second course: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/J...zda_173340.htm |
